Simplify Adobe Creative Suite 5 Deployment using the Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition and Absolute Manage

Co–sponsored by Absolute Software
With the recent release of Adobe Creative Suite 5 (CS5) comes the demand for a complete solution to administering the new Adobe software. In the past, Absolute Software has provided management solutions that allow IT administrators to deploy, report on, and update both Adobe CS3 and CS4. A similar workflow can be used to administer Adobe CS5.

Using Adobe's custom enterprise deployment tool, the Adobe Application Manager, Enterprise Edition (AAMEE), IT administrators can repackage and provision Adobe CS5 for remote deployment or deployment during the imaging process. Administrators can also utilize Absolute Manage reporting capabilities to help comply with Adobe licensing policies and track specific information about each CS5 application. And, as with Adobe CS3 and CS4, updates can be deployed quickly and easily to all clients with Adobe CS5 installed by taking advantage of the automated patch management included in Absolute Manage.

Building on the success of the first version of AAMEE, Adobe has released an updated version of the application with expanded capabilities. Absolute Software has once again responded quickly with an update to their well received deployment workflow to ensure that Absolute Manage leverages the new capabilities available in AAMEE. John Wu from Absolute Software will spend a few minutes discussing the ways that Absolute Manage can be used in conjunction with AAMEE to automate deployment of Adobe CS5 in large-scale environments, allowing IT administrators to achieve increased efficiency and quick returns on their software investment.
